Who we are
Karingen’s Resort is owned and founded by Mr. Antony K V and is headed by Joint Managing Directors Mr. Antony K V and Mrs. Sini Antony, both of whom hail from a reputed family by name Karingen. Mr Antony is a man who deeply loves nature and the forest who found peace, solace, and spiritual grounding in the wilderness, considering the forest a sanctuary rather than just a collection of trees. For him, the forest is not just a place to visit, but a home and a source of medicine for the soul. He always has a sense of kinship with the natural world, often finding that his thoughts disappear and are replaced by a feeling of being fully alive. He actively seeks out woodland, enjoying the solitude, the smell of the earth, the sound of the wind in the leaves, and the sponginess of the forest floor. He is likely to be found on trails, exploring, or simply sitting and observing the ecosystem.
Inspired by the Forest and nature of his own village which is situated in the western ghats of south India, being an Dendrophilia Naturalistic outdoorsman personality made him to create a Forest and eco friendly Resort in the tourist spot of Kerala which is not so far from the Kochi international Airport, Kerala (Gods Own Country).
Mr. Antony is also a Talented architect who pushed boundaries to create unique, memorable, and innovative designs rather than relying on repetitive styles from external architects to design this Resort. The Tree house in the resort is a Signature Style developed by the founder himself without cutting the tree in the resort which is a distinct, recognizable artistic impression. He very much understands how a building fits into its surroundings, respecting the cultural, historical, and environmental context.
